Manage Your Campaign Settings
Campaign settings define the core information and behavior of your campaign within MediaKoi.
- Campaign Name: This is the name you'll use to identify your campaign in MediaKoi. It's also part of the UTM tags automatically generated for external links. This is a mandatory field.
- Reference ID: Use this optional field to add any internal ID you use for tracking your campaigns. Like the Campaign Name, it's included in the system-generated UTM tags for external links.
- Media Type: This tells the system what type of ad you're creating. Currently, MediaKoi only supports Digital Media ads. This is a mandatory field.
- Start Date: The date your campaign will begin running on the ad platform. This is a mandatory field.
- Days in Campaign: The planned duration of your campaign in days. MediaKoi uses this to calculate reporting data retention and pricing. Campaigns can run for a maximum of 90 days. This is a mandatory field.
- Estimated Impressions (M): Your estimated total impressions in millions for the entire campaign run. This figure is used for pricing calculations. The system rounds up; for example, 1.3M impressions will be recorded as 2M. This is a mandatory field.
- Destination URL: This is the default target URL for ads in this campaign. Individual ads can reference or override this URL. This is an optional field.
- Country: The country where your ads will run. This information helps MediaKoi ensure compliance with data and privacy laws and enables country-specific services like location search. This is a mandatory field.
- DSP (Demand-Side Platform): Sets the default DSP for your campaign. All ads will inherit this DSP by default, but you can override it for individual ads. See the Ad Servers/DSPs section for more details. This is an optional field.
- Video: Upload a video here if it will be commonly used across multiple ads in this campaign. Once uploaded, your video is ingested, transcoded, and stored on MediaKoi's global streaming CDN, ready for playback. Videos have a runtime limit of 1 minute. For more information, refer to the Video section. This is an optional field.
- Style Guide: You can set a default style guide for your campaign here. While campaigns automatically inherit your company's style guide (if defined), you can override it on a campaign-by-campaign basis. If you haven't set a company-wide style guide, we recommend defining one at the campaign level to simplify ad creation. See the Style Guide section for more details. This is an optional field.
