Campaign Settings
Campaign settings define the information about the campaign itself. This information is used by the system to define the behavior of the campaign.
- Campaign Name: Name of the campaign. In addition to being how the campaign is identified in the MediaKoi platform, the Campaign Name is part of the UTM tags that are created by the system for external links. This is a mandatory field.
- Reference ID: This allows you to add any sort of internal ID you may use to track your campaigns. The Reference ID is part of the UTM tags that are created by the system for external links. This is an optional field.
- Media Type: This allows the system to understand the ad type you are working with. Currently, only Digital Media ads are created by the MediaKoi platform. This is a mandatory field
- Start Date: The date the campaign will begin running on the ad platform. This is a mandatory field.
- Days in Campaign: The planned number of days your campaign will be running. This is used by the system to calculated retention of reporting data. This is also used by the system to calculate pricing. Note that the maximum number of days a campaign can run is 90 days. This is a mandatory field.
- Estimated Impressions (M): The estimated number of impressions, in millions, across the run of the campaign. This is used by the system to calculate pricing. Note that the system rounds up so 1.3M impressions is recorded by the system as 2M. This is a mandatory field.
- Destination URL: This is the target URL location for the ads in this campaign. This URL can be referenced in the ads, or overridden by one or more ads. This is an optional field.
- Country: The country where these ads will run. This information is used by the system to ensure the MediaKoi platform is compliant withdata and privacy laws, and if there are country-specific services such as location search. This is a mandatory field.
- DSP: This field sets the default DSP for the campaign. All ads for this campaign will be assigned this DSP, though that can be overridden on an ad-by-ad basis. For more details, see the Ad Servers/DSPs section. This is an optional field.
- Video: This allows you to upload a video that is commonly used across all ads for a campaign. On upload, the video file is ingested, transcoded, and then stored on MediaKoi's global streaming CDN, ready for streaming playback. The runtime limit for your uploaded video is 1 minute. For more details, see the Video section. This is an optional field.
- Style Guide: This allows you to set a default style guide for a campaign. If you have defined the style guide for your company, the campaign inherits this, but can be overridden on a campaign-by-campaign basis. It is recommended that if you have not defined your company's style guide, that you define a style guide for a campaign to reduce your effort when creating ads. For more details, see the Style Guide section. This is optional.
