Real-Time Reporting
MediaKoi provides a real-time view of impressions and engagements for your ads. To access your reports, click the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner and select "Reporting."
Note: If you have access to multiple companies, you must select a company before choosing the "Reporting" option.
Reporting Control Options
Several control options are available throughout the reporting interface:
- Campaign: A list of all active campaigns, sorted by their Start Date.
- Generated By: Reporting data is separated into "Preview" (activity while you are editing the ad) and "Production" (activity occurring outside the MediaKoi platform). Please note that MediaKoi does not capture Impressions for Preview data.
- Start Date: The earliest date included in the report.
- End Date: The latest date included in the report.
Report Data
MediaKoi collects both impressions and engagements:
- Impressions: An impression refers to the number of times an ad is displayed to a consumer. This is stored as a count of impressions on an hourly basis.
- Engagements: An engagement refers to an interaction by a consumer with an ad. This will vary based on the functionality you've designed into your ad. Some examples include:
- Click: A consumer has clicked an element in your ad (e.g., Menu Open, About, Video, Website).
- Search: If you've included a search function in your ad, any searches performed by a consumer are captured. This denotes whether results are based on Geo (IP lookup) or Suggestion (address lookup) and includes a count of results.
- Scroll: Captured if a consumer scrolls through their search results (related to Search).
- Video: Covers all video player actions such as "Video Start" (when the video begins playing) and "Video Stop" (when the video has been stopped, recording the final playback location).
Available Reports
There are several pre-built reports currently available:
- Campaign Summary: This report provides a breakdown of views and engagements for the campaign as a whole.
Product Summary: This report offers a breakdown of views and engagements per ad within a campaign.
- Engagement Detail: This report provides a detailed view of the activity occurring within your ads.
There are also several controls present on this page and across the reports themselves to further refine your data view.
