Configuring Your Domain for Launch

When it comes time to launch your site, the following outlines the steps you will need to take in order to make your site live.

GoDaddy

The first step will be to make a change in the DNS Record within your Domain Portfolio area.

To start, the only records you should have are the two NS records and a SOA record.  If you have any A or CNAME records, those will need to be deleted.

We will provide you with a CNAME record to enter.  This record must be entered exactly as provided, including the trailing "." .  When this step is complete, we will verify the record on our side.  Once verified, we will perform the final configuration and generate the final pieces of information to be appended to the domain record.

You will create a new CNAME record with the details provided.

Next, you will switch to the Forwarding tab and click to add a domain.

• Domain: Enter your domain.
• Destination: Select https://
• Type: Permanent (301)
• TTL: Leave on defaut

Once complete, your domain will be correctly configured and your should be live within a matter of minutes.
